Maharashtra ITI Admission 2026 – How to Apply?

If you want to take NCVT ITI Admission in any ITI college in Maharashtra, then you can easily apply online by following the simple steps given below:

Step 1: First of all, open the official website admission.dvet.gov.in and click on “New Registration”.

Step 2: Create a new account by filling in your name, mobile number, email ID, password, and basic personal/academic details in the registration form.

Step 3: After logging in, you will have to fill in your personal info, education details, and category-related information in the application form.

Step 4: Now you have to upload some important documents, a passport-size photo, a signature, a mark sheet, etc.

Step 5: After filling the form, make an online payment (₹100 to ₹300 depending on the category) through debit card, credit card, or UPI.

Step 6: After everything is complete, download and print your provisional application form, and do not forget to keep the login details safe.

Eligibility Criteria

To get admission in Maharashtra ITI colleges, candidates must fulfil some basic eligibility conditions, which are listed below.

  • Nationality: Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
  • Educational Qualification:
    You should have passed Class 8th, 10th, or 12th with at least 35% marks.
    For certain trades, Mathematics and Science are mandatory subjects.

Merit List Process

The Maharashtra ITI Merit List is the list of candidates who have applied for Industrial Training Institute (ITI) admission. This list is released by the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET), Maharashtra. The merit list is prepared on the basis of students’ 10th, 12th (and 8th in some trades) marks, as there is no entrance exam for admission in Maharashtra ITI.

Counselling Process:

The Maharashtra ITI Counselling is an online process through which students are allotted ITI colleges/trades as per their merit. As soon as the merit list is released, the counselling process starts. During counselling, students have to fill out the option of their preferred trades and colleges, and this process is called choice filling.

The counselling process is conducted in multiple rounds. Seat allotment takes place after each round, in which you get a seat based on your rank and choice. If you are allotted a seat, you have to go to the allotted college to get your documents verified and confirm your admission.
